3000 Series

The 3000 series offers the best combination of economy, reliability and durability. A slewing ring bearing or turntable bearing is a ball or roller bearing consisting of two concentric rings, either of which may contain a gear. This type of bearing enhances load support and power transmission in all directions and is often used to support heavy loads in slow speed applications and large equipment such as earth moving excavators and construction cranes. 1000 Series Single Row Ball Slewing Rings

The 1000 series is a gearless bearing consisting of chrome alloy steel balls with no spacers in the unhardened raceways within the steel ring.

2100 Series Single Row Ball Slewing Rings

The single row design of the 2100 series provides four point contact in an induction hardened offset raceway.

3000 Series Single Row Ball Slewing Rings

The 3000 Series is an improved version of the four-point contact slewing ring, constructed with offset hardened raceways, premium raceway wraps and a rugged ball separator.

4000 Series Two Row Ball Slewing Rings

The 4000 Series has greater internal clearance than the 3000 Series models for enhanced maneuverability.

5000 Series Crossed Roller Slewing Rings

Series 5000 crossed rollers feature V-groove raceways that provide two paths for the rollers in each ring.

6000 Series High Speed Slewing Rings

Our single row 6000 series is a high speed radial ball slewing ring that provides raceway speeds up to 3,000 feet per minute with adequate lubrication.

7100 Series Vertical Thrust Slewing Rings

The 7100 Series Vertical Thrust Slewing Ring is a single row ball bearing specifically designed to support applications where the center of force is within the diameter of the slewing ring during standard operation.

8000 Series Vertical Thrust Slewing Rings

Like the 7100, the 8000 is a single row ball bearing that supports vertical motion within the diameter of the slewing ring. The 8000 model offers the lowest cost per diameter for heavy pure thrust loads.

10,000 Series Three Row Roller Slewing Rings

The 10,000 Series consists of three rows of independently moving rollers that provide optimal support and freedom of movement in the desired direction.

12,000 Series Roller and Ball Combination Slewing Rings

The 12,000 series combines rollers and balls to account for small motion eccentricities under relatively high axial loads for enhanced load support and stability.

15,000 Series Slewing Rings

Our 15,000 Series slewing rings include a replaceable hardened wire raceway that allows for a wider variety of materials for the support rings.

Material of slewing ring bearing

The performance and quality of raw materials have a great influence on the performance and service life of bearings. AUB only uses bearing raw materials from qualified suppliers. We will carry out strict inspection on bearing forgings, including ultrasonic inspection, hardness inspection and metallographic inspection. Most slewing rings use 42CrMo, 50Mn as raw materials, GCr15 bearing steel is usually used for small sizes, and AUB can also produce slewing ring bearings with customized materials such as stainless steel and coated aluminum alloys.

GCr15 steel

For precision slewing bearing materials, such as cross roller bearings, harmonic reducer bearings, etc., AUB uses GCr15 bearing steel as raw material. GCr15, as a representative steel grade of high carbon chromium bearing steel, has less alloy content and good comprehensive performance. GCr15 bearing steel has high hardness, uniform structure, good wear resistance and good contact fatigue performance after quenching and low temperature tempering. Usually used in the manufacture of precision bearing rings and rolling elements.

The normal quenching temperature of GCr15 steel is 830-860°C.
The tempering temperature of GCr15 steel is generally 160-180°C,

GCr15 steel has good hot workability, moderate cold workability and general cutting performance. In addition, GCr15 has poor weldability and temper brittleness. As a bearing steel, GCr15 has high requirements on smelting quality, and the content and distribution of sulfur, phosphorus and non-metallic inclusions need to be strictly controlled, which has a great impact on the service life of bearing steel.

50Mn

For slewing bearing materials, AUB usually uses 50Mn or 42CrMo as raw materials. 50Mn is a high-quality carbon structural steel. It has high strength, elasticity and hardness, and is often used after quenching and tempering treatment. The welding performance of 50Mn is poor, and it has a tendency of overheating sensitivity and temper brittleness. 50Mn is usually used in the manufacture of parts that require high wear resistance and load carrying capacity, such as gears and gear shafts.

42CrMo steel

42CrMo material is an alloy steel, very suitable for forging processing. It has high strength, high hardenability and good toughness. 42CrMo has small quenching deformation, high creep strength and durable strength at high temperature. Compared with 50Mn, 42CrMo has better fatigue durability, but its cost is higher.
