SX

Crossed cylindrical roller bearings typically use cylindrical or tapered rollers arranged in a crossed manner within a single raceway groove, separated by brass retainers or engineering plastic spacers. This configuration ensures high rotational precision, large load capacity, compact size, high rotational speed, and rigidity. Crossed roller bearings primarily provide support and reduce friction in mechanical systems, suitable for applications requiring high speed, radial, axial, and moment loads. The dimensions of the inner and outer rings are minimized to the utmost, especially in their ultra-thin structure approaching its limits, and possess high rigidity. Structural characteristics of SX crossed cylindrical roller bearings include:

  1. Rollers and raceways in line contact or point contact, providing high radial load capacity suitable for heavy and impact loads.
  2. Low friction coefficient, suitable for high-speed applications approaching the limits of deep groove ball bearings.
  3. Types N and NU allow axial movement, accommodating variations in relative positions between shafts and housings due to thermal expansion or installation errors, suitable for use as free-end supports.
  4. Requires high precision machining of shafts or housing holes. After bearing installation, strict control of the relative skew of the outer ring shaft is necessary to avoid stress concentration.
  5. Inner or outer rings are detachable, facilitating convenient installation and removal.
