The HT series slewing ring bearings are larger than the HS series, with increased ball diameter and cross-sectional area, providing greater capacity. HT series slewing bearings are commonly found in medium to heavy duty applications.
Design Features
The internal configuration of HT series slewing ring bearings consists of deep groove Gothic arched raceways and maximum ball complement. This is a typical four-point contact design that provides excellent moment, thrust and radial load capabilities.
AUB offers integral seals to help keep contaminants out. HT series bearings are available in internal, external and toothless arrangements. The gear ring has threaded holes, while the non-gear ring has through holes. Gears are an involute stub design with a 20° pressure angle and are manufactured to AGMA Class Q5 with 0.015 to 0.025 inch clearance. They range in size from 36-66" OD (900-1700mm OD) with standard cross-sections.
Application
HT series bearings have been successfully used in a variety of medium and heavy duty applications including: - Cranes - Aerial lifts - Excavator derricks - Chute swivels - Forklift rotators - Industrial turntables
