Single Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings (General)

AUBEARING manufactures single row angular contact ball bearings including: the 7000 series, 7200 series, 7300 series, and 7900 series. Single row angular contact ball bearings are primarily used to withstand combined radial and axial loads, as well as pure radial loads. These bearings operate at high speeds. The bearing rings are made of refined bearing steel Gcr15 and other types of bearing steel, while the balls are made of GCr15 or ceramics. The size range of single row angular contact ball bearings is from 10 millimeters (0.3937 inches) to 150 millimeters (5.9055 inches) in inner diameter.

The axial load carrying capacity of single row angular contact bearings depends on the contact angle α, with higher contact angles providing greater axial load capacity. Typical contact angles are 15°, 25°, and 40°.

Single row angular contact ball bearings generally use solid metal cages. In some high-speed applications, solid cages are typically made of phenolic resin, but they should not exceed a working temperature of 120°C. Rubber seals (RS/2RS) provide optimal sealing effectiveness but increase friction. Open bearings without seals are suitable for extremely high speeds and are easier to relubricate. However, they are more susceptible to contamination.

Standard preload for angular contact ball bearings is classified into three levels: light (L), medium (M), and heavy (H).
